Dialogue, community and creative exchange
@DDF invites mission-aligned leaders and organizations to partner with the Doris Duke Foundation on high-impact gatherings at our Centers: Duke Farms (Hillsborough, NJ), Shangri La (Honolulu) and the Doris Duke Center (New York City). By bringing diverse stakeholders to the table, we create space to surface complexity, build shared understanding, strengthen relationships and move ideas into action.
Convening
Our Convening Program is currently accepting applications. This program supports leaders and organizations in designing intimate, high-impact multi-day gatherings for up to 25 participants over up to four days—built to spark bold ideas, deepen connection and move real work forward.

Convening at Shangri La
Events
Events are for larger or more complex gatherings than our convenings. Our Centers can typically host groups of up to 90 for conferences, public programs, performances and large meetings—generally for 1–2 days. Event inquiries are accepted on a rolling basis.
