Grant Resources

The Doris Duke Foundation’s program staff conducts extensive research to identify gaps or needs that the foundation can address in the fields it supports.

While most of our grants are by invitation, we do accept unsolicited proposals. We also have open calls from time to time. Learn more about our grantmaking process below.

Deadline

Mar 02, 2026

Artists Make Technology invites proposals for bold ideas in the performing arts that engage digital tools, innovative data practices and emerging production methods.

Beyond grantmaking

In addition to grants, we have other tools as well to maximize impact, including events, convenings, social and digital communications, investments and our global centers, Duke Farms and Shangri La.

Manage a grant via our Grantee Portal.

DDF uses an online Grantee Portal, powered by GivingData, for proposals, reports and other grants management. If you have been invited to submit a proposal, you or someone in your organization will receive an email with instructions for completing registration of your Grantee Portal account. Please note that if you do not already have a Grantee Portal account, you will not be able to create an account from this page. If you have any questions about using the Grantee Portal, please contact us at grants@dorisduke.org.
