As a member of the community engagement team, the engagement associate supports the delivery of welcoming, well-coordinated visitor and event experiences at Duke Farms. This seasonal, front-line role contributes to daily operations and public programs by providing hospitality, assisting with events and logistical support for public amenities (café, bike rental service, orientation center and trails), and supporting positive interactions with visitors and community members.
The grounds supervisor plays a central role in stewarding Shangri La’s vibrant five-acre oceanfront site by overseeing the care and cultivation of its gardens, landscapes and hardscapes. The AI Fellow will work closely with the Technology department and senior leadership to accelerate how AI is applied across the foundation’s work. In close partnership with the chief technology officer and president and CEO, this role will also advise and contribute to the foundation’s overall AI strategy. This is a short-term, high-impact role for a technically strong builder who can move quickly between experimentation and practical implementation. The Fellow will help identify where AI can improve how DDF operates, build and test lightweight solutions, and translate emerging capabilities into clear, usable approaches for teams.
