To support a multi-disciplinary art and music installation, conceived by drummer and 2019 Doris Duke Artist Terri Lyne Carrington and in collaboration with the Carr Center, that explores how gender inequity has affected the jazz genre and envisions a more equitable jazz future by requiring new standards for transformation in the field through the foundation's Creative Inflections program.
