Treehouse

Where nature and climate conversations thrive.

Treehouse is a dedicated hub for inspiring conversations, collaboration, idea generation and action on nature and natural climate solutions. We convene leaders from across philanthropy, Tribal nations, government, civil society, the private sector and culture to advance durable, solutions-oriented progress.

NYC Climate Week 2026

This year, Treehouse will organize programming around four key themes to deepen alignment and focus collaboration. By concentrating conversations in this way, we aim to build momentum, strengthen connections and drive meaningful action beyond awareness.

Themes

Climate-smart Forests

Exploring climate-adapted forest stewardship, conservation, restoration and the role of forests in climate resilience and mitigation.

Indigenous-led Conservation

Centering Indigenous sovereignty and community stewardship as essential strategies for advancing climate resilience, biodiversity and durable land governance.

Working Lands and Food

Advancing resilient land use, food systems transformation and community-based stewardship.

Financing Natural Climate Solutions

Advancing innovative public, philanthropic and private capital strategies to scale durable conservation, restoration and stewardship solutions that deliver climate and biodiversity impact.

Evening programming at Treehouse offers space for climate and culture to intersect. We welcome proposals that use art, storytelling and creative expression to deepen engagement and expand how climate and nature are understood.

Interested in hosting an event?

Treehouse prioritizes events that are designed to drive meaningful outcomes—such as advancing collaboration, informing strategy or catalyzing action. We invite proposals for events that align with the key programmatic themes and contribute meaningfully to advancing solutions in that space. Selected event hosts will be asked to provide a summary of key insights or outcomes following the event.

While we welcome a diversity of formats and voices, space is limited and not all submissions can be accommodated. Proposals will be reviewed based on alignment with thematic goals, clarity of intended outcomes and overall readiness of the organizing team.

If you are interested in hosting an event at Treehouse, please submit the form below by June 12, 2026.
